Tracy Varndell, Hoard Gallery Sandgate

Tracy Varndell

Born in the 60’s a South London urchin, a teenager in the 70’s hung up on being anybody let alone somebody. An art school drop-out who never believed she could hack it with the best of the rest. The 80’s spent working her ass off trying to be everything to everyone, the nineties believing that success is the measuring stick. The noughties brings realization that trying to have it all  leaves you with very little and the 21st century it dawned that you end up back at the beginning.

Tracy Varndell is an artist who just satisfies herself with who she is, lives a little on the edge and just hopes that her work sometimes gets to be noticed.
